I had just two lines in my memory since my childhood when I overheard these lines on radio. Those did not come out clearly on ether. After so many years, after about 45 years, for the first time I have listened to the song fully n comfortably. What a feeling. Alas, video is not there. BUT THANKS TO U FOR UPLOADING THE SONG. I have good memories of listening it and liking too, but, confess not to
have paid proper attention. Today, when a person got before me the complete
lyrics plus link to this post, I listened attentively side by side going
through the lyrics. It is mesmerising, thanks to the lyrics of Sahir
Ludhianvi and soulful rendering by Kishore Kumar - credit also due to

it is very surprising that a singer admits that he does not have any formal
training in sangeet or ragas can sing so beautiful and that too varieties
in singing from yodling to sad at his best . three cheeers to our kishorda.
