Raja MA Khan’s lyrics are perfect for the situation. Madan Mohan’s
composition is superb. And when it comes to Mohd. Rafi’s voice, I start
looking for appropriate words to describe it, but can’t find any. As has
been said many times, he does half the acting through his voice! There was
not much left to do for Sunil Dutt in this song, but he did an excellent
job on screen after all.
