Jamal just awesome upload. I have seen this film few times. A touch of
class, no dout. Shashi Kapoor was on his best. Actually most of the
Merchand Ivory productions are, pieces of art from Shakespear wala, Heat
and Dust, In custody, Deceivers and to all the way to Cotton Marry. Its an
amazing cinema. I was very much hooked to it once.

Shabana Azmi ,Shashi Kapoor, and Om Puri are all doing full justice to
their roles, the former two by facial expressions alone and Shabana by
miming the tawaif song with well-honed expressions as well as fitting body
movements. Very nice ghazal, very engaging clip. Thanks, jamalnasir1975.

standing peoples art show-cased. Ustad Zakir Hussain highly educated icon,
a great liberal writer Faiz Ahmad Faiz, marvelous playback singer Kavita
