Awesome post -- thanks. You can hear in this song many of the inflections
that Rafi uses in his later career for actors like Shammi, Dev Anand, Dilip
Kumar, Bharat Bhushan and so on... One of the most memorable Rafi songs --

One of my favs !!! I saw the movie in 1977 on a re-release !!! I was 18 1t
that time. Liked the movie. There is another very beautiful song "Meri
