Hello Rumahale. Very nice song. This was the "ONLY" song sung by Lata Mangeshkar for Guru Dutt Productions since it was launched in 1953. Normally, Geeta and Asha would sing in his movies and Shamshad once in a while. Lata did sing later, after Guru's death for a production called "Guru Dutt Combined".

Hello. There was a film "Memsaab" released in 1971 starring Vinod Khanna and Yogeeta Bali. That was a "Guru Dutt Combined Production" in which Lata had a song and so did Manna Dey. I believe that Guru Dutt Combined was made by his younger brother. Not sure though. All I remember is way back when they used to sell and I used to buy Long Play records, I saw a record in one of the shops. Music was by Sonik Omi.
