well ! this is a nice surprise as i have heard this song after a long long
time and seen for the first time ofcourse ! it used to be played very often
on radio and i had heard it many times , years ago in my childhood , but i
did not that it was a shailendra - salilda combination and picturised on
geeta bali . thanks for the forward mahale ji .

Salil Choudhury is known for composing tunes so very different from others. His background scores are so catchy! Inimitable Geeta Bali brought a lot of life to this song picturisation.

Dear uploader, thanks a lot for this rare gem. I always missed this song,
as i had watched it in Chitarhar on TV, in mid seventies, when i was in
school. I vaguely remembrered & thought it were Vaijaynti mala ji, BUT O
my GOD it is Geetabali ji,such a beautiful dancer she was, difficult to
belive. Hats off to the Choreographers of those Golden era and of course
the actresses. Alas! we lost her so early, in her prime youth, no wonder ,
hubby Shammi ji went mad at her unfortunate demise. Dancing steps r
superb,exotic& nicely executed. Shailender ji & Salil da of course need no
appreciation; they still live in our hearts through these immortal
melodies. Thanks a lot once again-Dr. R.K.SHARMA
