La Tomatina is a Harvesting festival in Spain... the spanish celebrate this
due to the abundance in the Harvest of tomatoes... i have no problem with
that... but having tomatina festivals in india is a very wannabe thing, not
to mention something we dont need to do, as we have food scarcity here.
But nevertheless, the song is a good one :) its all about the music anyway

All used tomatos are wasted ones that can be used or eaten. And you can't
send fresh vegetables so easily to poor parts of the world because they get
rotten in the way. So, before criticize anything, please go get some
information.

Obviously I'm not, but I've been there and I know it. And yes, these days
it is possible to send fresh vegetables but don't be simple and think where
are you going to send them: countries with poor infrastructures and worst
governments whose administrative delays can rot your fresh tomatoes, or
security issues that can get your people killed and needing military
support. The logistics, the costs... it's not a technical obstacle, it is
political. As I said, go get some information.

They actually remade the festival to the film, since Tomatina festival and
the bull run event are on 2 differents months and in the movie the trip
last 3 weeks :)

Despite that, do you have any idea how much iin need other people are in need of these 'not so good' tomatoes just for survival? Millions. Go look at the poverty stricken parts of India and Africa. Such a blatant waste of food just makes my heart ache. I'm surprised that you don't feel the same way.
