i remember having watched this song on doordarshan when chitrahaar as a
programme had begun to be telecast for the first time on national network
on Wednesday the 26 January 1983. its nostalgic and mesmerizing even to
this day. i was a kid then and i fondly remember having been captivated and
translocated into a fairytale patriotic affair with this country and i
haven't come out of that spell as of yet.

I was ( not boasting of myself) fairly a good singer in my younger days &
had sung this song at school & won the 1 prize,I was in middle school in
1969 by then. My mother taught me to sing this song. What a kind of good
old days ab kahaan.
I remember i used to srcibble the lyrics by just listening to the radio &
my Dad used to say why don,t you remember & scribble tha same way in
studies.
