It is from two of my favourites - Madhubala and Geeta Dutt. I have no
choice but to award 5 * in view of its quality.

The musical genius of SD Burman with an effervescent burst of lyrical
inspiration by Shailendra created the Champagne of unequalled delight,
exciting, bubbly, full of fizzy fun... much the same can be said for this
charming & endearing film sequence from 'Insaan Jaag Utha' released in 1959
Charismatic Geeta Dutt & Adorable Asha Bhosle perform this intricate duet
calling for blended vocal harmony, perfect timing & a dash of Bollywood
Frivolity for, The Night They Invented Champagne

Only SD Burman could compose such an exciting tune. Wording of the song is also remarkable by Shelly Shelendra. Asha Bhonsle and Geeta Dutt coordinated nicely during singing. The most beautiful actress Madhubala and Geeta dutt played and performed excellentlly. This song I have hreard thousands of time but now again and again I like to watch it.

Geetha deedi has that quality in her voice that transforms listeners to an
unknown world of ecstatic silence and tranquality.Lathaaji confessed
rightly that she could not bring that meloncholic melody in her
voice.Great! Dr.Nagaraj.B Mysore.

WELl DONE , BURMAN DADA , THIS DUET MUST HAVE BEEN A SMASHING HIT WHEN IT
WAS FIRST INTRODUCED TO LISTENING AUDIENCES IN THE INDIAN SUBCONTINENT. THE
FILMGOERS MUST HAVE HAD A VERY TOUGH TIME TO REMOVE THEIR CONCENTRATION
FROM THE BIG S C R E E N.
