Absolutely loooooooooooove this Rajesh Khanna/Mumtaz item from the hit film "Apna Desh", one of their best pairings ever! An amazing R. D. Burman composition that fills one up with extreme happiness and longing for more gems such as this. The man was a master of his task who continuously produced classics, years after years; classics that are remembered and sung by the audience 'till this day. Rajesh's and Mumtaz's interactions are so lovely in this clip. Very cute couple!

Though both had many other co-stars as their love interest in the films, none did justice to each other the way Mumtaz did to Rajesh and vice-versa. The way Hema and Dharam were the absolute couple of Hindi Cinema, Raj and Nargis, the evergreen couple of the black and white cinema, Rajesh and Mumtaz were one of the most notorious and sought-after couples of the film industry. Both were cast opposite each other multiple times and during all those times, produced such excellent films.

Mumtaz's cute outfit is to-die-for! The white flowers as part of her hair piece is matchless! Love her entire look in this clip. Very '70s style - my favorite era of Hindi Cinema.

one of my favourite songs. very romantic.ab zid chodo...na agey agey
