Sardar Malik, father of Annu Malik was a very under-rated Music Director. He started giving music in films as early as 1950. Such as Thokar, Laila Majnu(two duets of Talat and Asha), Chor Bazaar. His very famous film remains "Saranga" 1960 with Mukesh hits such as Saranga Teri Yaad Mein and Haan Diwana Hoon. All songs of that film were popular. After that, he faded away. Luck never favored him.
