True, being from South India I also felt the same. But I am blessed to
experoence different streams of music from north and south! I have less
differences with people from Srilanka.

I am from Jaipur, Rajasthan. I didn't inherit Rajasthani culture but this
song hits me within a second. This is one of the emotionally strongest
songs I've ever listened to! They should make more music like this. Halla
bol!
Abhishek Chadha on October 24, 2013
This is a real tragedy, some days i also feel like knowing people across
the border, i sit and wonder how different are we that we had to be
separated all of us. This partition has brought us nothing but pain. Wish
we were still united.
nilanjana das on November 05, 2013

Hey God if possible then give me rebirth me next 1000 times more here in

Manish Raj Uprera on October 16, 2014
those who thinks that language, culture, traditions divides us..come to
my motherland and u will change ur thinkings...if u think that high
temperature, lack of water, banjar jameen cant make u love for motherland
then ask someone deep rajasthani boy.this hot wind called Loo or high
temperature or banjar jameen can make me cry every time wen i remind
it.

of all the versions out there... this is perhaps the best... it has the
best intro and the right beats throughout the song... searched for the
