This is an excellent song By sri Guptaji. Sadly there is no casette
available with his son.The song reminds KL Saigal sahib and Surendraji the
great singers of past era. The past times are brought back. Thanks for
uploading this immortal song.

Singer Shakardas guptaji no doubt was an excellent singer like GM Durrani
sahib. However, shri Guptaji was not probabaly suited for fast songs with
changed times in Sixtees and further. There was general down fall and Music
with no poetry and melody. Directors copied western tunes and music with
din of instruments. They were no more poets. Cat calls, shrieks, Loud
mouthed songs, like Yahoo.. Yahoo., Ayyayyo Karoo main kya sookoo. ... etc
braying and Crying etc became normal

rare the song itself is, it's no surprise). In my attempts to listen to

couldn't make out due to the poor quality of the recording. I will send you
