पंडित भारत व्यास की एक दर्द भरी रचना जिसे कल्याणजी वीरजी शाह के मर्मस्पर्शी
संगीत निर्देशन में रफ़ी साहिब एवं लता जी ने बड़े वेदनापूर्ण स्वर में गाया है।
1959 की यह रचना फ़िल्म बेदर्द ज़माना क्या जाने के लिए परदे पर अशोक कुमार और
निरूपा राय ने बड़े भावनापूर्ण अंदाज़ में पेश किया है जो आज सिने-प्रेमियों को
बीते दिनों की मधुर यादों में खो जाने को विवश कर देती है।
