I am sure that the poet is harikEshanallur muttayya bhAgavatar.
His 'pen' or the 'mudre' is 'harikEshaangi/harikEsha' which comes at the end of this 'daru' kriti, which hasn't been sung in the movie. One can listen to it sung by MSS. Wonderful kriti and amazing rendering. It is in kannaDa language and in praise of shrI nAlvaDi kRSNarAja wodeyar.
