The actress is Swaroop Sampat. She is a former Miss India. RD Burman is the music director. His style in this song is somewhat like that of OP Nayyar - perhaps Asha ji used the harkats taught to her by Nayyar sahib. This is an outstanding but underrated song nonetheless.
