Better than Mamma mia. It has variations. In opening 8 bars from guitar and
in "Tere liye zamana tere liye" that portion is lifted. In those days it
was common when the producers used to ask composer to use certain english
tracks. Even Great composers used to do that but that doesn't mean his
originals are useless. R D Burman has composed over 2000 songs in his
career, maybe 50-60 songs are inspired or lifted but that doesn't make him
a bad composer. I have all the songs composed by R D Burman and yes I like
his originals which are better than his inspired songs. Music is something
which can inspire any artist...a samll piece of music composed by other
composer can be composed as a song by another composer. Inspiration isn't
bad instead we should appreciate both original and inspired works.
