Very sweet song of "puppy love." We all know how ,as in Devdas , sometimes
such early innocent closeness blossoms into adult bonds of love. It's
always interesting to note how in old Indian movies, adolescent girl stars
, not boys, were given the prefix "baby" as in Baby Naaz here. In the West,
I can't recall anyone attaching that word to anyone over, say, two or three
years of age. Thanks, COS.

@BharatGul thank you da ! i did not take notice of this before ! :) girl
child stars were all babies :) another example i just came across is baby
farida in dosti !

@crazyoldsongs I wonder if the term baby even if ill-fitting for the
chronological age, probably reflects a special adoration and protectiveness
for the girl stars on the part of the producer-directors and other adults
in the business.

Very interesting information coming from esteemed BharatGul ji on "Baby"
satrs. Equally interesting is this song - rarely heard though. Thanks for
its introduction with nice video presentation.

wishful thinking !
