Lagaan movie and all its songs, particularly this one is really inspiring!
The movie, symbollically through a game of cricket, depicted how a 'common
man' and soar to unprecented heights of success and glory through sheer
self-belief, prayer and desireless actions. I have seen 'No man's land' a
couple of times and have never been able to comprehend why that movie was
given the Oscar ahead of this movie. (Well this is finally just my personal
opinion and there could a lot of emotional bias at subconscious level, I
dont know). But this movie anyway is an excellent educational experience in
'management', how to be a good shepherd. How to transform a team of
ordinary, less skilled people into highly effective, motivated,
enthusiastic high performers! Truly, success is 99% inspiration and 1%
perspiration. Or as 'How to win friends and influence people' says -
success is 85-90% about dealing with people, and 10-15% about technical
skills.
