well i agree, old is gold, i remember when i was little and i use to watch these movies with my parents and fall asleep without finishing the movie, anyway my point is,such movies are not made anymore, since media has been impacted by western style.look at the music industry, its all hardcore... for old is gold like you said, but i wish they made better movies like KKkG, kuch kuch hota hai (all time favorite), and DDLJ amazing movie i tell you :P

in early 90's these songs created rage,craze among people every where i go i listened to these songs Jaan Tere Naam,Saajan,Deewana Aashiqui Phool Aur Kaante Saathi Junoon and Dilwale...Nadeem Sharavan are surely greatest song composers wether they lift tunes or not..it dosent ..the main thing is the songs should be melodius and a distinct stamp which they succesfully did in 90s and still these songs are best compare to other songs
