@chakdeychar in those days lyricist of the hindi film songs were used to be
great urdu poets like sahir ludhyanvi,khumar barabankvi,shakeel badayuni
,majaaz,jan nisar akhtar etc etc... They not only contributed to bollywood
but they have equally great contribution to urdu poetry...

@alkasib the character singing this song here is not Allauddin. He plays role of a school teacher and Dilip's father in the movie. Actor singing here is someone else whose name is not known.
