I am from Calcutta and a Die-Hard fan of Lata Ji, Talat Ji and Salilda and
I myself a long time Tabla Player and played with Salil da's various
Bengali compositions in the past. This is an exact and a very beautiful
lift from an Original Bengali song "...Ei Mon Mor Jaanina Kotha Je
Haralo..." Lyric and music by our great Salil da...and sung by then famous
Bengali singer Ms.. Nirmala Mishra around 1960-1961 era. Please go to
YTube and play this Bengali one it is also very beautiful and it has the
same lilting tune effect.
