Adi Narayan Rao's music is very good. Manna dada and Lataji are fantastic.
Look at Vyjayanthimala's superb expressions. Southies never forget natya
while dancing. Her voice naturally matches with Lata. watch the starting of
this song...it appears as if Vyjayanti is rendering it. Remember Sangam ?
you cant make out whether it is Lata or Vyjayanti. Similar thing happens
with Padmini in Jis Desh mein..

Vyjayanthimala's dedication to dance is total and complete You never get
the feeling that she is doing it for the sake of the movie. Her every move
exudes life and love and that is why she stands out from all the other
dancers of her time and even now. No one even comes close. Padmini and
Ragini had the same charm/dedication or atleast close to it, when it came
to dance

i agree..many dancer actresses were around at that time, but Vyjayanthi had
that grace many lacked..some were more faster than her in their steps, most
of them had quick an agile steps..Vyjayanthi was definitely one of them,
without a douby but the grace she had in her dances were
incomparable..truly one of the best that we had..

What is worth remembering is that Vyjantimala was basically a Bharat Natyam
dancer and here it is mostly Kathak that she is performing with Gopi
Krishna, one of the best exponents of Kathak and still giving an absolutely
brilliant performance...! Hats off Vyjantimala!
