darti hai har paw ki payal aaj kahi ho jaye na ghayal
aaj salamat koi na ghar hai sabko lut jane ka dar hai
hamne apne watan ko dekha aadmi ke patan ko dekha
aaj to bahno par bhi hamla hota hai
dur kisi kone me majhab rota hai
kiske sar ilzam dhare hum aaj kaha fariyad kare hum
karte hai jo aaj ladai sabke sab hai apne hi bhai
sabke sab hai yaha apradhi haye mohabbat samne bhuladi
aaj bahi jo khun ki dhara doshi uska samaj hai sara
suno jara o sunne walo asman par najar ghumalo
ek gagan me karodo tare rahte hai ghulmil kar sare

kabhi na wo aapas me ladte kabhi na dekha unko jhagadte
kabhi nahi wo churre chalate nahi kisi ka khun bahate
lekin is insan ko dekho dharti ki santan ko dekho
kitna hai ye haye kamina isne lakho ka sukh china
ki hai isne jo aaj tabahi denge uski mukhde gawahi
aapas ki dusmani ka ye anzam hua
dunia hasne lagi desh badnam hua
kaisa ye khatre ka pahar hai aaj hawao me bhi jahar hai
kahi bhi dekho bat yahi hai haye bhayanak rat yahi hai
maut ke saye me har ghar hai kab kya hoga kise khabar hai
band hai khidki band hai dware baithe hai sab dar ke mare
kya hoga in becharo ka kya hoga in lacharo ka
inka sab kuch kho sakta hai inpe hamla ho sakta hai
koi rakshak najar nahi aata soya hai aakash fiza ka
ye kya hal hua apne sansar ka nikal raha hai aaj janaja pyar ka

What has become of man today,

The courtyards weep, the alleys mourn,
The neighbourhoods their sorrow born.
Salma weeps, and Sita sighs,
The Quran and Gita echo cries.

The Himalayas roar in their despair,
Where is the love we used to share?
The venomous serpents have all come,
To poison hearts, to leave us numb.

The very house has caught the fire,
Ignited by our own desire.
Our nation, once a guiding light,
Through trials faced, with all its might.

Men sacrificed, the valiant died,
To shield their sisters, as they cried.
But that is gone, a distant dream,
Now only treachery does teem.

The winds have turned, a violent gust,
The weak now tremble, filled with dust.
Each veil now faces mortal dread,
Each bride's adornment, filled with lead.

The earth, a cup beneath each foot,
Might shatter now, bear poisoned fruit.
No home is safe, all fear the raid,
Each soul consumed, deeply afraid.

We've seen our homeland's heart laid bare,
The fall of man, the deep despair.
Even sisters now face the strife,
While faith weeps, at the edge of life.

Whose shoulders bear the blame's deep sting?
Where can we cry? What will it bring?
Those who fight, all brothers true,
Forgetting love, what else to do?

The river of blood now flows with haste,
Society itself, the guilty taste.
Listen now, you who hear my plea,
Look upward, towards eternity.

In one sky, a million stars reside,
They live in peace, side by side.
They never fight, they never rage,
No blood they spill upon life's stage.

But look at man, this earthly son,
How wicked he has now become!
He stole the joy from countless lives,
His actions speak of what survives.

This self-made ruin, all can see,
The world now laughs, our shame to be.
What a treacherous hour we now face,
Poisoned air, in time and space.

The night is dark, a dreadful plight,
The shadows of death fill our sight.
Each house now trapped, with every fear,
What will happen? None can hear.

The windows shut, the doors are sealed,
All huddle close, their wounds revealed.
What fate awaits the weak, the frail?
Their everything, about to fail.

Attack may come, their safety lost,
No savior seen, whatever cost.
The sky now sleeps, the air so still,
The funeral march, against our will.
For love departs, its journey done.
