BTW, you guys had better stop the argument, that leads to nothing. I found
yet another better comparison (nicked from a blog): Hindi & Urdu are as
close as Indonesian & Malay. That's about it. (I even tried it) You can
take a Malay text and jam it into Google Translate and *deliberately*
select "Indonesian" as language. There are only a few things you can't
translate, but you should get the meaning anyway. FOREIGN speakers will
not always be able to make a clear distinction at all -- note that.
