Wonderful composition. There is seamless tranisition during fusion or
changeover.. remarkable, hats off to Rehman THE GREAT. Good team selection.
Prasanna has been terrific with Electric Guitar and Malini with Bass
Guitar. Needless to say about Sivamani. Wonderful voice from Ustad and
family. Rehman is too good in selecting the right blend of talent..He has
proved it again. Delighted to see the such high positive energy on stage
from all, as if they have been together for years.

Brother, I would never say he is the best. I have little knowledge of music
to be able to decide who is the best. But, I sure have favorites and I
appreciate the works of many other Indian talents if they impress me. At
times people like Shanker Mahadevan, Vishal Shekhar, Salim Sulaiman, Vishal
Bhardwaj and even Amit Trivedi have given us extraordinary songs. But, no
one is a master of fusion and they all do it in their own way. And I
probably like the Rahman's way of doing it.

Each one of them including AR can perform pieces in raagam for hours ...
it's not the idea of coke studio .. it is celebrating world music and
bringing together the gap .. just like AR did to experiment Jordan folk in
Zariya with Monk's divine singing .. Shivamani is also playing a Continuum
fingerboard as percussion and such a joy and fan.. God bless Ustad Ghulam
Mustafa Khan sir family and everyone here :-)

A fantastic performance recorded in the studio which is very very beautiful
(a paradise on earth). I am proud of A.R.Rahman, Prasanna, Sivamani(all the
three are innovative and creative) who all hail from Chennai like me.
Chennai indeed is a seat of learning for musicians. I am proud to have been
born there. I also could learn some carnatic and western music.

Dear ma'am,I guess the problem with people like you is that you comment
without understanding.I have not even blamed ustadji.He wasn't even allowed
to shower his beautiful voice upon us by the music director.In fact,the
classical artists were never allowed to unleash themselves.7 minutes is not
even a warm up for these great souls.Swaras and ragas demand hours of alaps
too.Now to get things right I never talked about more /less taste.Taste
might be different in a diverse country like ours.
