Ae Dil Abb Kahee Na Jaa - ऐ दिल अब कहीं ना जा
Lyrics of Ae Dil Abb Kahee Na Jaa - ऐ दिल अब कहीं ना जा
ai dil ab kahi na jaa, na kisika mai, na koyi mera
ai dil ab kahi na jaa, na kisika mai, na koyi mera
ai dil

jab chale ham raah ulajhi, pyaar duniya ne kiya
jab chale ham raah ulajhi, pyaar duniya ne kiya
raah sidhi jab mili toh sabne thukara diya
sabne thukara diya

dekhna baar-baar
ai dil ab kahi na jaa, na kisika mai, na koyi mera
ai dil ab kahi na jaa, na kisika mai, na koyi mera
lyrics of song Ae Dil Abb Kahee Na Jaa
Poetic Translation - Lyrics of Ae Dil Abb Kahee Na Jaa - ऐ दिल अब कहीं ना जा
O heart, wander no more, I belong to none, none to me,
O heart, wander no more, I belong to none, none to me,
O heart.

When the path was a maze, love the world did feign,
When the path was a maze, love the world did feign,
But when the way grew straight, all turned away in disdain,
Turned away in disdain.
O heart, wander no more, I belong to none, none to me,
O heart.

No one craves my presence, no one waits for me,
No one craves my presence, no one waits for me,
Then why look back, turn around repeatedly?
Repeatedly?
O heart, wander no more, I belong to none, none to me,
O heart, wander no more, I belong to none, none to me.

Thanky for your answer. In the meantime I found the origin of this song by
myself. It's indeed Petite Fleur. But I think one shouldn'dt judge this and
many other hindi movies as thiefes of western culture or something. They
have their own culture and none is better than the other. And in those old
movies Shammi Kapoor plus Mohammed Rafi and many others did very good jobs.
I love those movies, they touch my heart. To my backround: I'm german,
speak no hindi, I like the USA and I like India, too.

@lieberso I think that this is a second-rate copy of the Western tune Petite Fleur! Listen to the versions by Deuter or by Billy Vaughn. THEN let me know what YOU think!
