Bachapan Kee Yadgaro, Mai Tumko Dhundhatee Hu - बचपन की यादगारों,मैं तुमको ढूँढती हूँ
Lyrics of Bachapan Kee Yadgaro, Mai Tumko Dhundhatee Hu - बचपन की यादगारों,मैं तुमको ढूँढती हूँ
bachpan ki yaadgaro
main tumko dhundhti hu
tum bhi mujhe pukaro
tum bhi mujhe pukaro
bachpan ki yaadgaro
main tumko dhundhti hu
tum bhi mujhe pukaro
tum bhi mujhe pukaro
yaad aake rah gaye hain, hain
kuch bewafa najare
palko se jhankte hain
bheege huye sitare
bheege huye sitare
dekho jara palatkar bichhde huye sahaaro
main tumko dhundhti hu
tum bhi mujhe pukaro
tum bhi mujhe pukaro
jo khwaab tha khushi ka
ashko me bah gaya hai
sine me dil ke badle
ik dard rah gaya hai
ik dard rah gaya hai
ae meri zindagi ke, ae masum raazdaro
main tumko dhundhti hu
tum bhi mujhe pukaro
tum bhi mujhe pukaro
yaad aake rah gaye hain, hain
kuch bewafa najare
palko se jhankte hain
bheege huye sitare
bheege huye sitare
dekho jara palatkar bichhde huye sahaaro

tum bhi mujhe pukaro
tum bhi mujhe pukaro

Poetic Translation - Lyrics of Bachapan Kee Yadgaro, Mai Tumko Dhundhatee Hu - बचपन की यादगारों,मैं तुमको ढूँढती हूँ
To echoes of childhood, I reach,
Searching for you in the heart's breach.
Call out to me now, wherever you roam,
Call out to me, whisper, "Come home."
To the ghosts of yesterday, fading,
Scenes of betrayal, forever pervading.
From my lashes, tears like stars gleam,
Weeping secrets in a lost dream.
Turn and see the solace we've spurned,
To echoes of childhood, I've returned.
Call out to me now, wherever you roam,
Call out to me, whisper, "Come home."
The dream of joy, a river of tears,
Washing away all the passing years.
In my chest, a wound where a heart should reside,
A lingering ache, where true love died.
Oh, innocent companions of life's long quest,
To echoes of childhood, I am now blessed.
Call out to me now, wherever you roam,
Call out to me, whisper, "Come home."
To the ghosts of yesterday, fading,
Scenes of betrayal, forever pervading.
From my lashes, tears like stars gleam,
Weeping secrets in a lost dream.
Turn and see the solace we've spurned,
To echoes of childhood, I've returned.
Call out to me now, wherever you roam,
Call out to me, whisper, "Come home."
To echoes of childhood, I reach,

When a child starts growing it always carry some thing in their memory from
their parents. It is a natural course. I was not more than 12-14 years old
when I heard my mother singing this song as we all normally does every now
and then. After indulging myself in music, while I was still a teen ager,
was not aware that this song was sung by the one and only Noor Jehan. Since
then it had been my smouldering desire to find it. Thanks God I have found
it. Excellent work.(21st February 2011)
