While fools may dance, with laughter on their face.

Speak with words that open up the soul,
And bring a balm to make you whole.
Let others find solace in your tone,
And find your peace a home.
You waste the night in slumber's deep embrace,
And spend the day in fleeting, empty chase.
A precious life, of immeasurable worth,
Is traded now for coins of little birth.

With faith in Ram, sleep fearless and serene,
What must occur will come, a destined scene.
What will be, will be, the truth will be told.
My suffering is mine, I see Radha's form untold.
By the touch of God, the body finds its bloom,
In Krishna’s gaze, banishing the gloom.
In sorrow, all remember the Divine,
But in joy, the sacred fades from the mind.
If in happiness, remembrance held its sway,
Then sorrow's shadow would not see the day.

If joy is not greeted with a smile's embrace,
If eyes show no affection, no warmth in the space.
No matter if the heavens pour down gold,
These words of wisdom, never grow old.
I searched for evil, in every place,
But found none, no trace, no single face.
Within my heart, the darkness I did find,
For the truest evil, resides in the mind.

Preserve the thread of love with tender care,
Lest it should break, beyond repair.
When broken, it can never be the same,
Like shattered glass, a fading name.
A broken thing, no matter how you try,
Cannot be fixed, beneath the sky.
Like spoiled milk, a lesson we must learn,
No cream remains, once the milk does turn.
