Bambai Ke Ye Babu, Dil Lene Dene Aaye - बम्बई के ये बाबू, दिल लेने देने आये
Lyrics of Bambai Ke Ye Babu, Dil Lene Dene Aaye - बम्बई के ये बाबू, दिल लेने देने आये
hay re hay kya kiya jaye, aiso se to ram bachaye
bambai ke ye babu, dil lene dene aaye
ki inse ram bachaye
han inse ram bachaye, inse to ram bachaye
bambai ke ye babu, dil lene dene aaye
ki inse ram bachaye
jara inse bach ke rahna, badnami ho naa jaye
ki inse ram bachaye
han inse ram bachaye, inse to ram bachaye

rup ke ye rasiya, aaye hain apne gaon me
rahne ko julfo ki chhanv me
rup ke ye rasiya, aaye hain apne gaon me
rahne ko julfo ki chhanv me
ban than ke roj aaye, kabhi pyar ke gaane gaye
dil ko sambhale kaise koyi, jab pichhe hi pad jaye
ki inse ram bachaye, ha inse ram bachaye
inse to ram bachaye
bambai ke ye babu, dil lene dene aaye
ki inse ram bachaye

taank jhaank karna inka to pahla kaam hai
aiso ko dur se salam hai
taank jhaank karna inka to pahla kaam hai
aiso ko dur se salam hai
chhup chhup ke dore dale
chale ulati sidhi chaale
ghur ke jab ye dekhe
chhuri si dil par chal chal jaye
ki inse ram bachaye, ha inse ram bachaye
inse to ram bachaye
bambai ke ye babu, dil lene dene aaye
ki inse ram bachaye

aitbar inka karna naa kabhi bhul ke
kante milenge badle phul ke
aitbar inka karna naa kabhi bhul ke
kante milenge badle phul ke
bante hain dekho kaise, ki ho bhole bhale jaise
aag lagaye dil me kisi ko, khabar naa hone paye
ki inse ram bachaye, ha inse ram bachaye
inse to ram bachaye
bambai ke ye babu, dil lene dene aaye
ki inse ram bachaye, han inse ram bachaye
inse to ram bachaye
lyrics of song Bambai Ke Ye Babu, Dil Lene Dene Aaye
Poetic Translation - Lyrics of Bambai Ke Ye Babu, Dil Lene Dene Aaye - बम्बई के ये बाबू, दिल लेने देने आये
Oh, what is to be done, may Ram protect us from these,
These babus of Bombay, come to steal and to appease.
May Ram protect us from these,
Yes, may Ram protect us, protect us from these,
These babus of Bombay, come to steal and to appease.
May Ram protect us from these,
Beware and stay away, lest your reputation be lost,
May Ram protect us from these,
Yes, may Ram protect us, protect us from these.

These connoisseurs of beauty, have come to our village,
To reside in the shade of your tresses' visage.
These connoisseurs of beauty, have come to our village,
To reside in the shade of your tresses' visage.
They come adorned each day, singing songs of love's sway,
How can one guard their heart, when they pursue and they stay?
May Ram protect us from these, yes, may Ram protect us,
Protect us from these,
These babus of Bombay, come to steal and to appease.
May Ram protect us from these.

Their first deed is to pry, to peer and to scan,
To such, from afar, we offer a silent “Salaam”.
Their first deed is to pry, to peer and to scan,
To such, from afar, we offer a silent “Salaam”.
They cast glances unseen,
And leave wounds in between,
When they gaze with a stare,
A knife cuts into the heart's sheen.
May Ram protect us from these, yes, may Ram protect us,
Protect us from these,
These babus of Bombay, come to steal and to appease.
May Ram protect us from these.

Never, not even in passing, place your trust in their guise,
For thorns you will find, where you sought floral skies.
Never, not even in passing, place your trust in their guise,
For thorns you will find, where you sought floral skies.
They feign innocence true,
As if hearts they pursue,
To kindle a fire unseen,
And leave not a trace for you.
May Ram protect us from these, yes, may Ram protect us,
Protect us from these,
These babus of Bombay, come to steal and to appease.
May Ram protect us from these, yes, may Ram protect us,
Protect us from these.

wasn't the 60's belongs to LP music creations? This song was the the top of
the chart. But, I think Bela Bose should have equally known as much as
Helen is known to the people in general sense. Thanks for sharing a lovely
video/song.

Lata Ji has the divine gift of making any song exceptionally pleasing to
listen to.The entire scene of the song appears to be charged with the
''playful in a naughty way'' type of mood, which is the basic intent of the
lyrics. This is the degree of excellence which Lata Ji possesses in singing!
Bela Bose's dance was also very attractive and so was the acting of Kishore
Kumar in a unique role. Thanks a lot for sharing!

@jasbongy Sarla Ji there is no doubt that singers like Lata Ji are one of
all time greats! When she sings, she can make you laugh or cry through the
magic of her voice. My deep gratitude for your compliments--She,however,
merits much more and much higher level of admiration and glorification, than
what I write for her!! Regards---imran
