it is about the red revolution (read maoist) in central and eastern india some thirty years ago. That was brutally crushed by the then Congress Government (read: Indira Gandhi), using Emergency Rule. The movie is about three college friends and their beliefs and inter-relationship in the backdrop of the revolution that in the end shows that life does not pan out the way we plan it and the true power of love.
This movie went through a lot of controversy like all hard hitting films.

I hope one day soon your eyes will be open to the truth before it's too late. I still will be praying for u. Remember u can down from us. Genesis the 10th chapter. Do your history to see where Gentiles came from and when they came about. Japheth who moved far North, Russia etc. God bless you and your family real good.

Chitrangada had done at least one more movie. Dont recall the exact name but it was smthing like 'Yesterday, Aaj aur Tomorrow' kindaaaa. Shiney has paired her in that movie. I also didnt get a chance to watch that movie, still trying my luck. But, anyways she is a real matured actress. I can see the image, talent and looks of Smita Patil in herself - to be frank. She has the ability to get into that stream of movies and to prove as well.

I saw the movie (Hazaaron Khwaaishein Aisi) with my friends in hostel. The
movie is made in good taste for the intellectually elite viewers. I heard
the song recently in a commercial in TV. It probably was the Vodafone Magic
Box commercial. Please correct me as I too want to know the correct name.
Last night I heard the full song in radio. I made it a point to hear it
again in the morning. The lyrics are really good and so is the tune.
