tum baani-e-islaam kaa faramaan to dekho
allaah kaa kyaa huqam hai quraan to dekho
irashaad-e-nabi yah hai ki khud baad me khaa_o
bhukhaa jo padosi ho use pahale khilaa_o
bimaar jo hai unaki madad farz tumhaaraa
muhataaz jo hai unako sadaa denaa sahaaraa
par tumane to iname se ko_i baat na maani

bimaar garibo ke li_e ban ke bhikhaari
ai bhaa_iyo aa_e hai khidamat me tumhaari
hai kaar-e-sabab aankh agar raham ki kholi
daataa bhalaa ho bhar de faqiro ki jholi
is shaam se paidaa karo subah suhaani

Listen, oh heartless one, to the pauper's plea,
They hunger for bread, but find no water free.
You drown in luxury, on silken sheets you lie,
While your neighbor sleeps on cold stones beneath the sky.
You rejoice in your comfort, but where is ease for the devout?
Tell me, my friend, where does Islam truly sprout?
Why have you forgotten the fiery inferno's decree?
Listen, oh heartless one, to the pauper's plea.

Behold the Prophet's words, the essence of the creed,
Observe God's command, in the Quran, you must read.
The Prophet decreed, "Feed others first before your own need,"
If a neighbor is starving, their hunger you must feed.
The sick deserve your aid, your kindness and care,
The needy, your support, a burden you must share.
But you've ignored these truths, let your actions be clean,
Listen, oh heartless one, to the pauper's plea.

Become a beggar for the sick and the poor,
Oh brothers and sisters, we knock at your door.
Open your eyes with compassion, let your hearts be stirred,
May your generosity, in this world, be heard.
Fill the beggar's pockets, their empty hands to bless,
From this dark evening, let a bright morning progress.
