behen bhi chali hai apne gaw kaun ab dhir bandhata

Who could have penned this tale, in what hours of cruel sunlight?
A tale of societal wounds, a vicious cycle that spins,
Dread hangs heavy in tempests, where a frail candle begins,
How will it ignite? How will it burn?
The spark of life, from the hand that gives, the true identity will turn.
The child of all, they say, Heaven, its father, unfurled,
And Earth, its mother, shelters it, a god's forgotten world.

Whose oboe sings a lament? Whose palanquin moves slow?
A sister departs, unspoken words, a sorrow only she can know.
A love it faded, a thread that snapped and then frayed,
From two small eyes, a river of tears, a heart betrayed.
A river of tears, it swells, and shadows flee,
The sister leaves for her village, who will now comfort thee?
