One of the most difficult songs in Hindi film playback music repertoire.
Manna Day makes it look absurdly simple, cutting through it like butter. It
demands an almost a 2 octave range - low nishadha (flat 7th, C) on "gehra
pujari" and high pancham (fifth, A) on the aakar. Since Manna Dey (like
Rafi in Duniya ke Rakhwale) sings this song in the Key of D, the fifth or
high A should not sound like a yell, which it doesn't to MD's credit. Manna
Dey executes it beautifully with ridiculous ease.

very melodious emotion charged bhajan. There is another similar beautiful
bhajan by Manna da in film Narsi Bhagat 1957 " Aaj faisla tere dwar par
mere jeet hai tere har par..darshan do ghanashyam .." could someone

ac claasic singer in claasic music .who deserves oscar award.who has served
