Bipasha Basu is the female lead and the antagonist! Shayana's character was written only for Bipasha. Vikram has stated that only Bipasha has the ability to convey the intense human emotions of anger anguish, despair and jealously. Her character is much more complex and powerful than Esha's character. Esha's character is of a feeble girl who is being terrorized from black magic. Jaqueline was first offered her role, but she decline and now Esha is playing Sanjana!

really great movie.best of all the series.and who says..you cant compare
Esha with Bipasha like she said..Bipasha is a superstars.she is in
Bollywood more than a decade and she really did a great job in every of her
film.Esha is a newcomer.i like her.she is a very sweet girl but she has to
work in candid of acting and dance.i think Jaqueline would to a better job
and looked better with Emraan.i dont like him w Esha.
