Lyrics of Dil Bekarar Sa Hai, Humko Khumar Sa Hai (By Rafi) - दिल बेक़रार सा है हमको ख़ुमार सा है
dil bekarar sa hai, humko khumar sa hai
jab se tumhe dekha sanam
dil bekarar sa hai, humko khumar sa hai
jab se tumhe dekha sanam
dil bekarar sa hai
mausam nashe me chur hai, kuch pi ke aayi hai ghata
bas kuch na puchho aaj kya paigam laayi hai ghata
ab maine jana pyar kya hai teri zulfo ki kasam
dil bekarar sa hai, humko khumar sa hai
jab se tumhe dekha sanam
hay dil bekarar sa hai
haatho me aanchal tham ke ye sar jhukane ki ada
divana kar degi mujhe yu muskurane ki ada
ab maine jana pyar kya hai teri zulfo ki kasam
dil bekarar sa hai, humko khumar sa hai
jab se tumhe dekha sanam
dil bekarar sa hai, humko khumar sa hai
jab se tumhe dekha sanam
dil bekarar sa hai
jab se tumhe dekha sanam
dil bekarar sa hai, humko khumar sa hai
jab se tumhe dekha sanam
dil bekarar sa hai
mausam nashe me chur hai, kuch pi ke aayi hai ghata

Poetic Translation - Lyrics of Dil Bekarar Sa Hai, Humko Khumar Sa Hai (By Rafi) - दिल बेक़रार सा है हमको ख़ुमार सा है
My heart, a tempest, yearns and sighs,
Drunk on a vision, before my eyes,
Since the moment I saw you, my love,
My heart, a tempest, yearns and sighs.
The season reels, in a drunken sway,
The clouds have sipped, and come to play,
Ask not what secrets they impart,
I understand love, now, with a heart,
Sworn to your tresses, their silken charm,
My heart, a tempest, safe from harm,
Since the moment I saw you, my love,
Oh, my heart, a tempest, safe from harm.
Your veil held close, a tender grace,
Bowing your head, time and space,
The way you smile, will drive me wild,
I understand love, now, my child,
Sworn to your tresses, their silken charm,
My heart, a tempest, safe from harm,
Since the moment I saw you, my love,
My heart, a tempest, yearns and sighs,
Since the moment I saw you, my love,
My heart, a tempest, safe from harm.
Drunk on a vision, before my eyes,
Since the moment I saw you, my love,
My heart, a tempest, yearns and sighs.
The season reels, in a drunken sway,
The clouds have sipped, and come to play,
Ask not what secrets they impart,
I understand love, now, with a heart,
Sworn to your tresses, their silken charm,
My heart, a tempest, safe from harm,
Since the moment I saw you, my love,
Oh, my heart, a tempest, safe from harm.
Your veil held close, a tender grace,
Bowing your head, time and space,
The way you smile, will drive me wild,
I understand love, now, my child,
Sworn to your tresses, their silken charm,
My heart, a tempest, safe from harm,
Since the moment I saw you, my love,
My heart, a tempest, yearns and sighs,
Since the moment I saw you, my love,
My heart, a tempest, safe from harm.

RAFA SAHAB, AND MUSIC SO INTENSE, ...SUCH SINGING STYLE ALL
HEIGHTS CROSSED BY RAFI SAHAB. I THINK HIS SINGING WAS BEYOND ANY
BOUNDARIES, A SUPER DOOPER CLASS SINGING AND MAGICAL VOICE OF GOD

What a composition by Kalyanji-Anandji and what lyrics by Majrooh S! But
the thing that makes this song a masterpiece is undoubtedly Mohd. Rafi's
outstanding rendition. Joy M played it well on screen. Overall, a treat to
the ear and the eye!

A lovely song. Rafi saab's voice so sweet.. Kalyanji Anandji's music. I like the Rafi one more than the one sung by Lataji. Thanks for uploading a lovely song a regular in Vividh Barti in my childhood days..

This song is outstanding for several reasons. Foremost is the lyrics, tune
and Rafi - notice how he tailors his voice to suit JM. Then there is the
gorgeous and beautiful Vyjayanthimala. Last but not the least is the
fabulous venue - near as I can tell its Humayun's Maqbara. Too bad the song
is in b/w considering it's the same year Sangam came out.
