Lyrics of Dil Se Re, Dil To Aakhir Dil Hai Na -
ek suraj nikla tha, kuchh para pighla tha
ek aandhi aayi thi, jab dil se aah nikli thi, dil se re
ek suraj nikla tha, kuchh para pighla tha
ek aandhi aayi thi, jab dil se aah nikli thi, dil se re
dil se re, dil se re, dil se re, dil se re, dil se re
dil se re, dil se re, dil se re, dil se re, dil se re
do patte patjhad ke pedo se utare the
pedo ki shakho se utare the
phir itne mausam gujre woh patte do bechare
phir ugne ki chahat me woh sehrao se gujre
woh patte dil dil dil the, woh dil the dil dil dil the
dil hai toh phir dard hoga, dard hai toh dil bhi hoga
mausam gujarte rehte hain
dil hai toh phir dard hoga, dard hai toh dil bhi hoga
mausam gujarte rehte hain
dil se, dil se, dil se, dil se, dil se re
bandhan hai rishto me, kaato ki tare hain
patthar ke darwaje diware
bele phir bhi ugti hain, aur gunche bhi khilte hain
aur chalte hain afsane, kirdar bhi milte hain
woh rishte dil dil dil the, woh dil the dil dil dil the
ghum dil ke pal chulbule hain, pani ke yeh bulbule hain
bujhte hain bante rehte hain
ghum dil ke pal chulbule hain, pani ke yeh bulbule hain
bujhte hain bante rehte hain
dil se, dil se, dil se, dil se, dil se re
dil se re, dil se re, dil se re, dil se re

Poetic Translation - Lyrics of Dil Se Re, Dil To Aakhir Dil Hai Na -
A sun arose, mercury did melt,
A tempest roared, when a sigh escaped the heart, from the heart, oh!
A sun arose, mercury did melt,
A tempest roared, when a sigh escaped the heart, from the heart, oh!
From the heart, oh, from the heart, oh, from the heart, oh, from the heart, oh, from the heart, oh!
The heart, after all, is just a heart, a sweet torment, isn't it? Beloved, beloved,
Beloved, beloved, no, beloved, lived, lived, lived, no, lived.
From the heart, oh, from the heart, oh, from the heart, oh, from the heart, oh, from the heart, oh!
The heart, after all, is just a heart, a sweet torment, isn't it? Beloved, beloved,
Beloved, beloved, no, beloved, lived, lived, lived, no, lived, from the heart, oh!
Two leaves descended, from trees of autumn,
Descended from the branches of trees.
Then so many seasons passed, those two poor leaves,
Then, in the desire to sprout again, they crossed deserts.
Those leaves, heart, heart, heart, were they, they were heart, heart, heart, they were.
If there's a heart, there'll be pain, if there's pain, there'll also be a heart.
Seasons keep passing by.
If there's a heart, there'll be pain, if there's pain, there'll also be a heart.
Seasons keep passing by.
Bonds are in relationships, threads of thorns,
Stone doors, walls.
Vines still grow, and buds also bloom,
And tales move on, characters also meet.
Those relationships, heart, heart, heart, were they, they were heart, heart, heart, they were.
The heart's sorrows, playful moments, these bubbles of water,
They extinguish, they keep forming.
The heart's sorrows, playful moments, these bubbles of water,
They extinguish, they keep forming.
From the heart, oh, from the heart, oh, from the heart, oh, from the heart, oh, from the heart, oh!
From the heart, oh, from the heart, oh, from the heart, oh, from the heart, oh!
The heart, after all, is just a heart, a sweet torment, isn't it? Beloved, beloved,

@Vegetakhan
WOW. Seriously, use some common sense, I'm sure you have a little.
The reason this song would not get an OSCAR, for one, is because it wouldn't even be elgible to get recieve one. Do you know why? Because, it is from a Bollywood movie, which would be considered an international film at the Oscars. They do have a category for international films, but not a whole bunch of awards for them as detailed as best orginal score or song, etc.

@Vegetakhan Oscar... not "oskars"... and if it was nominated it would be a
"foreign film category"... The film is an American Film and produced by
American Producers... This film would not be eligible for the best movie
oscar because it is produced by an Indian company. I agree there are alot
better movies in Bollywood, but they can only be eligible for foreign
film... movies like Lagaan and Water were in nominated before.

Every little frame of the song tells why SRK is the King of Romance. I grew
up watching him, his movies, and his charisma. This one is a fine example
of his calibre. It's true that he is no more doing classic movies rather
focused on doing massy masala movies to carry forward his giant legacy but
I still love him a lot and this love seems to have remained undeterred till
now and will stay so ever.

I love Bollywood music that comes from the movies (probably will get
blasted for this =/) but sometimes its a bit repetitive, but this song,
actually the whole soundtrack is just a gift. So amazing! You really don't
need to understand the language because the sound touches your heart and is
a true art <3 I love the voice of the singer as well. I think the song
wouldn't be the same without that voice

Like seriously, almost no movies reach my heart, mind, and soul like this
one. Forrest Gump is beautiful, so is the Curious Case of Benjamin Button,
and so is Bram Stoker's Dracula. The love is incomprehensible. Her
emptiness and hatred are so accurate of what would happen in a real
situation if someone went through what she went through. The pain, the
love, the beauty is so much. It shows how awestrucken he is by MK who is a
beautiful, mysterious, olden time, natural, hollow shell.
