दुनियाँ करे सवाल, तो हम क्या जबाब दे
If the world asks the quetion, what do I tell them

tum koo na ho khyaal, to ham kyaa jabaab de
तुम कौ न हो ख़याल, तो हम क्या जबाब दे
if do not think of me /care for me-what do i answer-

poochhe koi ke dil ko kahaaan chhod aaye ho
पूछे कोई के दिल को कहाँ छोड़ आये हो
If someone asks me where did I leave my heart

kis kis se apanaa rishtaa-e-ajaan jod aaye hain
किस किस से अपना रिश्ता-ए-जान जोड़ आये हैं
with whom all have I established a connection, of relation, of life

mushkil ho arja-e-ahaal to, ham kyaa jabaab de
मुश्किल हो अर्ज-ए-हाल तो, हम क्या जबाब दे
If it be hard to describe my state/condition, what do I tell them?

poochhe koi darda-e-awafaa kaun de gayaa
पूछे कोई दर्द-ए-वफ़ा कौन दे गया
If someone asks me who caused me the grief in loyality/fidelity

raaton ko jaagane kee sajaa kaun de gayaa
रातों को जागने की सजा कौन दे गया
Who gave me the punishment to stay awake in nights constantly

kahane pe ho malaal, to ham kyaa jabaab de
कहने पे हो मलाल, तो हम क्या जबाब दे
If my words cause resentment- what do I tell them?

it is request to up loaders please mention the name of
lyricist...because with out the words the songs is incomplete, we want
