Lyrics of Ek Raadhaa Ek Miraa - एक राधा एक मीरा
ek radha, ek mira dono ne shyam ko chaha
antar kya dono ki chah me bolo
ik prem divani, ik daras divani
ek radha, ek mira
ek radha, ek mira dono ne shyam ko chaha
antar kya dono ki chah me bolo
ik prem divani, ik daras divani
radha ne madhuban me dhundha, mira ne man me paya
radha jise kho baithi vo, govind aur daras dikhaya
ek murali ek payal, ek pagali, ek ghayal
antar kya dono ki prit me bolo
antar kya dono ki prit me bolo
ek surat lubhani, ek murat lubhani
ek surat lubhani, ek murat lubhani
ik prem divani, ik daras divani
mira ke prabhu giridhar nagar, radha ke manamohan
mira ke prabhu giridhar nagar, radha ke manamohan
radha din shrigar kare aur mira ban gayi jogan
ek rani ek dasi, dono hari prem ki pyasi
antar kya dono ki tripti me bolo
antar kya dono ki tripti me bolo
ek jit na mani, ek har na mani
ek jit na mani, ek har na mani
ik prem divani, ik daras divani
ik prem divani, ik daras divani
ek radha, ek mira
ek radha, ek mira dono ne shyam ko chaha

Poetic Translation - Lyrics of Ek Raadhaa Ek Miraa - एक राधा एक मीरा
One Radha, one Meera, both yearned for Shyam,
Tell me, what divides their longing's stream?
One, love's madwoman, the other, sight's devotee.
One Radha, one Meera.
One Radha, one Meera, both yearned for Shyam,
Tell me, what divides their longing's stream?
One, love's madwoman, the other, sight's devotee.
Radha sought Him in the forest's sweet call,
Meera found Him within, embracing all.
Radha lost Him, yet found Govinda's face,
revealed in vision, a divine embrace.
One flute's echo, one anklet's soft chime,
One mad, one wounded, lost to passing time.
Tell me, what divides their love's design?
Tell me, what divides their love's design?
One, beauty's capture, the other, form's divine.
One, beauty's capture, the other, form's divine.
One, love's madwoman, the other, sight's devotee.
Meera's Lord, Giridhar Nagar, a king of grace,
Radha's Manmohan, in love's sacred space.
Radha adorned each day, with jewels bright,
Meera, a yogini, bathed in holy light.
One queen, one servant, both thirsting to be near,
Both seeking Hari, banishing all fear.
Tell me, what divides their soul's release?
Tell me, what divides their soul's release?
One, victory unseen, the other, no defeat.
One, victory unseen, the other, no defeat.
One, love's madwoman, the other, sight's devotee.

Although I respect and admire Lata ji for her work, I believe her voice
turned quite squeaky in the 70's and she shouldn't have continued further.
I mean it is clearly apparent. It would've been a much better song if
someone younger would've done the playback.

Lata Mangeshkar is the Unique Milestone. She is the Real avatar of
Saraswati Goddess. We are the lucky people that She exists in our
Generation.
