Lyrics of Ek Tir Chalaa Dil Pe Lagaa Haae Meraa Dil - एक तीर चला, दिल पे लगा, हाए मेरा दिल, हाए मेरा दिल
ek tir chala, dil pe lagaa, haae mera dil, haae mera dil
ek thes lagi, aisi lagi, tut gaya dil, haae mera dil
haae mera dil, haae mera dil, haae mera dil

ai aansuo aao, jalane se bachaao
ai aansuo aao, jalane se bachaao
thi sine me muhabbat ki lagi aag, jala dil
thi sine me muhabbat ki lagi aag, jala dil
haae mera dil, haae mera dil, haae mera dil

mushkil tha bachana, aisa tha nishana
chaha to bahut dil ko bachana, na bacha dil
chaha to bahut dil ko bachana, na bacha dil
haae mera dil, haae mera dil, haae mera dil

ki maine jo fariyaad, kis ne kiya barabad
kis ne kiya barabad
dil ne kaha nazaro ne, to nazaro ne kaha dil
dil ne kaha nazaro ne, to nazaro ne kaha dil
haae mera dil, haae mera dil, ha mera dil

A great song by Rajkumari, full of pathos and feeling. Mahal is one of my
favourite films of yester year! The songs were lilting, the story the actors
were par excellence. Ashok Kumar gave a memorable performance of his life.
Madhubala was divine. Kanu Rai in the court room was super. The song Ayega
aaneywala made Lata popular even among non-hindi knowing people.Rajkumari's
"Ghabrake jo hum " used to be another of my favourite songs.

This is one of the greatest Indian movie. Every thing is superb. But when it comes to these immortal songs, these were words first, then came the music, dancing & acting. Who wrote these songs? It is sad the poet Nakhshab is hardly mentioned. The creator of Zindagi Ya Toofan which had been copied over & over again.

Perhaps the finest Rajkumari song ever! Salute also to the gifted composer
Khemchand Prakash who tragically died at age 42.
