Halke Halke Chalo Saanvare - हल्के हल्के चलो साँवरे
Lyrics of Halke Halke Chalo Saanvare - हल्के हल्के चलो साँवरे
halke halke chalo saanvare pyaar ki mast havaao me
dil ko ye dar hai pahalaa safar hai in alabeli raaho me
halke halke chalo saanvare
halke halke chalaa naa jaaye pyaar ki mast havaao me
jab tak hai dam chalo chale ham daal ke baahe baaho me

badhane lagi dil ki dhadakan behane dol raha kyo mera tan man
haay mera tan man
badhane lagi dil ki dhadakan behane dol raha kyo mera tan man
haay mera tan man
tu hi bataa chain kahaan jab laagi lagan
dil bhi hai teraa, jaan bhi hai teri
jab se basi ho nigaaho me
dil bhi hai teraa, jaan bhi hai teri
jab se basi ho nigaaho me
halke halke chalaa naa jaaye pyaar ki mast havaao me
dil ko ye dar hai pahalaa safar hai in alabeli raaho me

tu mazil mai raahi tera tere bina kya jina mera
kya jina mera
tu mazil mai raahi tera tere bina kya jina mera
kya jina mera
tute kabhi naa chhute kabhi ye saath piyaa
pyaar ki qasam, sag rahege ham nil gagan ki chhaanv me
pyaar ki qasam, sag rahege ham nil gagan ki chhaanv me
halke halke chalo saanvare pyaar ki mast havaao me
dil ko ye dar hai pahalaa safar hai in alabeli raaho me
halke halke chalo saanvare
halke halke chalaa naa jaaye pyaar ki mast havaao me
jab tak hai dam chalo chale ham daal ke baahe baaho me
lyrics of song Halke Halke Chalo Saanvare
Poetic Translation - Lyrics of Halke Halke Chalo Saanvare - हल्के हल्के चलो साँवरे
Tread softly, Beloved, in winds of love's sweet sway,
My heart, it fears, this journey, a path newly begun, they say.
Tread softly, Beloved.

Lest we stumble, in breezes of love's delight,
While breath remains, let us walk, entwined in the light.

My heart's tempo quickens, my being starts to sway,
Oh, my soul, my spirit, why this trembling, they say?
Tell me, where lies peace, when passion takes its hold?
My heart is yours, my soul is yours, within your gaze, unfolds.

Lest we stumble, in breezes of love's delight,
While breath remains, let us walk, entwined in the light.

You are the destination, I, the traveler, on life's way,
Without you, what life is left for me, they say?
Never to break, never to part, this promise we now make,
By love's oath, we'll remain, beneath the sky's vast wake.
By love's oath, we'll remain, beneath the sky's vast wake.

Tread softly, Beloved, in winds of love's sweet sway,
My heart, it fears, this journey, a path newly begun, they say.
Tread softly, Beloved.

Lest we stumble, in breezes of love's delight,
While breath remains, let us walk, entwined in the light.

Well said again; I agree with you. Even now, the programme from 07.30 -
08-.00 with last song of Late KLS is continued; however, probably owing to
political compulsions, the RC has added Tamil programme from 07.00 - 07.30
IST. The gesture of paying tributes to the legends like composers, singers
continue. Regards.

Those days Radio Ceylon scored over our own Vividh Bharati. While the
announcers of Radio Ceylon were lively those on Vividh Bharati sounded like
people reading out the day's obituaries. Even after all these years, I
remember very clearly 7am to 7:30 am was devoted to 'Ek hi Film ke Geet'.
7:30 to 8 was 'Purane filmon ke geet'. The last song used to be by
'Swargiya K L Saigal' . 8 to 9 used to be 'Aap hi ke
Geet'.

Really?! Didn't know that. But is it THE Radio Ceylon of those years gone
by? Today, sadly, there's no Ameen Sayani. Neither is there Binaca
Toothpaste for that matter.
