this movie was so beautifully complimented by songs..
China silk was all the craze... my mom got one in golden yellow but was too modest to wear it or was it my father that did not like synthetic fabrics as opposed to handloom classics he got for her from everywhere

CLASSY! , thats the word for it, wonder whatever happened to Art like this , as Naseer bhai puts it, filmmakers of the 70's and 80's never really capitalized on talent like this.

you must be kidding us Mr MrShriSur..Suresh Wadkar's voice had a very limited range..listen again to Ae zindagi from Sadma..had it been sung by Rafisaab or Kishore..the feel would have been completely different..
not to put down sureshji..but to be fair..he had his moments :-)
