aisa na hoke kal ka itihashkar bole
mujrim se bhi jayada munsif ne zulm dhaya
ki pesh uske aage gam ki gawahiya bhi
rakhi nazar ke aage dil ki tabahiya bhi
usko yaki na aaya insaf kar na paya
aur apne is amal se badkar mujrimo ke
napak hoshlo ko kuch aur bhi badaya
insaf ka tarazu jo hath me uthaye

sab munsifo se upar ek aur bhi hai munsif
wo jo jaha ka malik sab hal janta hai
neki ke aur bhadi ke ahewal janta hai
duniya ke faislo se mayus jane wala
aisa na hoke uske darbar me pukare
aisa na hoke phir uske
insaf ka tarazu ek bar phir se tole
mujrim ke zulm ko bhi
munsif ki bhul ko bhi munsif ki bhul ko bhi
aur apna faisla dekh wo faisla ke jis se

The scales of justice, held within your hand,
To weigh the crimes, to make the judgments stand.
Lest history's voice should one day declare,
"The judge's cruelty surpassed the criminal's snare."
Before him, sorrow's witnesses would plead,
And hearts laid bare, their ruins to concede.
He could not believe, justice he could not see,
And with his deeds, the wicked would grow free.
Their tainted hopes, by his hand, grew more,
The scales of justice, held forevermore.
This truth remember, this truth to hold.

Above all judges, another one resides,
The Master of the world, who knows and guides.
He knows the good, the evil, the true plight,
Those weary, lost, by earthly judgment's light.
Lest they should call, when all else is gone,
Lest at His court, their despair goes on.
His scales of Justice, they will weigh once more,
The criminal's darkness, and the judge's flaw,
And with a judgment, the very soul will quake.
