the accompanying instrumental music is not in sync with a traditional...
keertana... that is set to Carnatic style,notwithstanding the way the music
is rendered is prolific and melodious, I think it falls into the genre of
classic experimentation, a neo- classicist experience at that. there is
definitely a certain confluence of elements of music which cannot be
gainsaid... it definitely makes listening a pleasure and the sonorous
quality of the cadences, the mellifluous cascade of outpouring music is
again and again seems modernistic and experimental..a departure from
traditional classicism. I have to confess that I enjoyed listening.

(1.3)...thus Sanskrit has influence on Latin. Actually to most people the
influence of Sanskrit on Latin seems clearer, since Latin is a more
popularised language, I meant that is because Greek is in the chain. The
originators of Latin knew only (or mainly) Greek. This means that knowing
Greek helps with Latin. It does not mean, however, that the learning of
Latin is hindered due to not knowing Greek. I'm afraid you missed my point
on originator languages. It was not a point about languages...

Iyengars and brahmins were chased out of Tamilnadu.They were given shelter
by Mysore maharaja. Mysore maharaja had a big heart as he allowed them to
practice/perform rituals in Tamil. Kings from Karnataka had great attitudes
because they cared for other languages, religion and cultures, that is the
difference between TN and Karnataka. Tirupati was supposed to be in TN but
was given to AP in exchange for Chennai. so it is not surprising to see
tamil in tirupathi, kannada is very popular as well

(3)... But this "roots" idea doesn't seem to make much sense. If you want
to learn Sanskrit for its own sake, you do that. Why say you want to learn
the roots of Urdu at all? Urdu is a language. Whether its roots lie in
Sanskrit is of no consequence to speakers of either language (only to those
who spawned the language). The original writers of the Urdu language
completed it. They did not leave any holes that can be bridged with the
learning of Sanskrit. The same goes for English and Latin...
