Shining, She reigns, from mountain's water.
Second form, a vision, so sweet to see,
Brahmacharini, in purity,
Third, Chandraghanta, bell-tongued and bright,
Her presence is a beacon of light.
Fourth, Kushmanda, the cosmic bloom,
Her laughter echoes, dispelling gloom.
Fifth, Skandamata, loving and kind,
A mother's devotion, for all mankind.

Sixth, Katyayani, giver of bliss,
A promise of joy, in every kiss.
Seventh, Mahagauri, radiant and white,
Bestowing fortune, with all Her might,
Eighth, Kalratri, darkness transformed,
By her, all fears, are gently warmed.
Ninth, Siddhidatri, fulfillment's art,
The power to manifest, in every heart.
