bar bar var mangah harshar dehu risi rang
pad saroj an payni bhakti sada sat sang
parnat pal radhuvansh mani karuna sindh khrari

katha visarjan hota hai suno veer hanuman
jo jan jah se aaye hai te tah karo payan

shrota sab aashram gaye shammu gaye kailash
ramanyan mam harday sada mag sada karhu je log
ram bhagti jasu pawan gavahi je log
ram bhagti dardh pavhi bin birag japyog
ramayan baikunth gayi sur gaye nij-nij dham
ramchandr ke pad kamal bandi gaye hanuman

Victory to King Rama, victory to Lakshman's strength,
Victory to Sugriva, to Angad, to Hanuman's length.
Victory to Kakbhushundi, to the mountain's embrace, Shiva and Uma's dance,
Victory to Bharadwaj, to Tulsidas, to the Lord of Avadh's expanse.

To the Lord, give my salutations, hands clasped, I implore,
Again and again, Raghunath, let my memory soar.
As a woman loves passion, as greed loves the glint of gold,
So too, Raghunath, forever, my heart, your story told.

Again and again, I beg, with joy, Oh Lord of all hues,
To your lotus feet, constant devotion, and the company true.
Protector of the surrendered, jewel of Raghu's line, ocean of grace,
You will keep safe those who seek refuge, all transgressions erase.

The story concludes now, hear, brave Hanuman’s call,
Let those who came here depart, heed the final fall.
The listeners returned to their ashrams, Shiva to his peak,
May the Ramayana dwell in my heart, the words I seek.

Those who sing and hear this pure tale, the Ramayana's art,
Will find devotion to Rama, a steadfast, unwavering heart.
The Ramayana, to Vaikuntha, the Gods to their own home,
Hanuman, bowing to Ram's lotus feet, no longer to roam.
