I believe this movie was by Guru Dutt. and Geeta Bali as a main character.
Also Mukul Roy first love was for the Bangla music but this is a smooth

himself. Geeta ji had helped her elder brother in the making of this film.
The film bombed at the box office. Guru Dutt made Geeta ji insolvent from
his banner (Guru Dutt films) after this film. After Guru Dutt's untimely
death, Geeta ji were struggling to survive because of this insolvency.
