@nairgopan. its not true, that south indians were not allowed.. Kamla
Hasan, Rekha, Hema malini, Rajnikant..and many more from south are
successful in north. Abt Sir Yasudas, he was very busy in south so cud not
concentrate in mumbai. I am from gujarat and i love Yasudas' voice. you can
take your words back. jai hind

Oh my dear lord.did u sing this or was it yesudas... No wonder not even
a single stage performer or so called star singers or indian idols ever
even bothered to touch your songs yesudasji...no matches...ur songs are
tooooo hard to replicate

I think your theory looks like to be true , but i dont think so thats the
case. every industry evolves and thats the nature of things. I dont think
so there was really anything like south Indian and North Indian Supremacy .
