- "Shruthi", my dear friend is a Sanskrit word and the English meaning is the "pitch".
When you have an instrument like Organ or Sarpina [similar to Organ] or Thampura, it will be easy to maintain the pitch throughout, when singing.

My sincere advise to you is try to have at least one instrument [just to maintain the "Shruthi"] if you can not find the Karaoke track.
