The Thakur's breeze, it swept through me, a haze,
And set my spirit dancing, in a daze.
My soul took flight, I felt a wondrous change,
As colors bloomed, upon life's vibrant range.
Behold, the season, painted bright and bold,
The festival of hues, a story to be told.
The clouds now weep, a drizzle starts to fall,
As Holi's joyous echoes fill one and all.
Within the hearts, desires begin to stir,
Holi has come, a joyful interlude, for her.

Oh, listen, Queen, dear brother-in-law, take heed,
No forceful games, this Holi's happy creed.
Come closer now, but fear begins to rise,
Where will you flee, before my very eyes?
Oh, let it be, oh, linger here awhile,
Their watchful eyes, their taunts, begin to pile,
Oh, what to do? In chilled air I will stroll,
The Thakur's breeze, again, has claimed my soul.
